Patient Care Coordinator
Are you someone who has great social skills and is friendly, good at communicating, detail-oriented, and always smiling? Premier wants to hear from you! We’re looking for a front desk associate that loves talking to our patients, listening to their needs, and getting them prepared for their visit!
Premier Eyecare Associates is a growing, patient-focused optometry practice seeking motivated, reliable, and team-oriented individuals to join our team. We are primarily hiring for Patient Care Coordinator, but welcome applicants interested in other clinical and patient-care roles. Training is provided for individuals eager to learn and grow in the optometry field.
Patient Care Coordinators are the first point of contact for our patients and help ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include learning and assisting with:
- Greeting and checking in patients in a friendly, professional manner
- Pulling and verifying insurance eligibility and benefits
- Collecting copays and payments
- Taking contact lens order
- Scheduling appointments that align with doctor templates and clinic flow
- Managing phone calls, referrals, and patient inquiries
- Assisting with basic eyewear adjustments when needed
This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy organization, multitasking, and patient interaction.
Eyewear Specialist
Are you an eyewear enthusiast with a great personality and skill for finding the right eyewear for each customer’s face shape, skin tone, and more? Premier is looking for someone just like you: honest, good with people, has knowledge and familiarity with our optical products, and can interpret prescriptions, lenses, and technical information for our patients! We are primarily hiring Eyewear Specialists, but welcome applicants interested in other clinical and patient-care roles. Training is provided for individuals eager to learn and grow in the optometry field.
Eyewear Specialists help patients select eyewear solutions that meet both vision and lifestyle needs. In this role, you will learn and assist with:
- Educating patients on lens options, materials, coatings, and what best fits their prescription and lifestyle
- Accurate measurements for glasses and eyewear orders
- Adjusting and repairing glasses to ensure proper fit and comfort
- Assisting with contact lens ordering
- Verifying insurance eligibility and eyewear benefits
- Processing eyewear orders and follow-ups
This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals with a passion for fashion, problem- solving, and patient education.
Vision Technician
If you genuinely enjoy taking care of patients and preparing them for the doctor during pretesting, Premier wants to hear more from you! We’re looking for a vision technician with great people skills and a good balance of patience and speed.
Premier Eyecare Associates is a growing, patient-focused optometry practice seeking motivated, reliable, and team-oriented individuals to join our team. We are primarily hiring Vision Technicians, but welcome applicants interested in other clinical and patient-care roles. Training is provided for individuals eager to learn and grow in the optometry field.
Vision Technicians play a key role in patient care and work closely with doctors throughout the exam process. In this role, you will learn and assist with:
- Pre-testing and diagnostic testing, including autorefraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, visual field testing, and OCT
- Assisting doctors during exams and accurately documenting patient information in the EHR
- Contactlens education, including trial contact lenses and contact lens follow-ups
- Processing prescription refills and referrals
- Preparing exam rooms and maintaining clinical equipment
- Providing patient education and exceptional customer service
- Basic eyewear adjustments as needed
This position is ideal for individuals interested in hands-on patient care and learning the clinical side of optometry.
Optometrist
