To Our Valued Patients,

In light of recent events surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Influenza, the eyecare providers and staff at Premier Eyecare Associates want you to know that we are committed to protecting your health and safety.  We are reviewing ongoing communication with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the American Optometric Association (AOA) and our local health departments.  In order to do our part in limiting the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19, we have reviewed and enhanced our cleaning and disinfecting procedures. It is our top priority to practice disinfection methods in compliance with recommendations from the CDC .

In an effort to further protect our team members, patients, and the community, we ask that you contact our office prior to any scheduled appointment if you or a family member have symptoms, such as cough, fever, difficulty breathing, sore throat, or runny nose so that we can reschedule any non-emergent appointments to another convenient time. According to the CDC, individuals experiencing a fever of 100 degrees or higher, coughing, and/or difficulty breathing, should stay home and contact a healthcare provider.

The MO DHSS recently opened a hotline for citizens needing guidance regarding COVID-19. It is operated by medical professionals and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The phone number is 877-435-8411.

We value your trust in our office to provide you eyecare and thank you for helping us in our efforts to keep our communities safe.
